This is as good as it gets as far as greenway trails go. The paved path was very well constructed and maintained. Several bridges allow for many scenic river crossings and there are many plants and wildlowers (even yummy wild rasberries!) in the summer. The path goes out about 5.5 miles and is a great way to see Stowe's scenery and various shops and restaurants. Stowe is a biker-friendly town with most shops and restaurants having bike racks and plenty of road signage to warn cars of upcoming bicycle path crossings.
In Stowe, the recreation path starts behind the church on Hwy 100. This is just on of multiple parking lots throughout Stowe.
